How We Test & Rate Tools
Every AI trading tool on this site goes through the same rigorous evaluation process. Here’s exactly how we arrive at our scores.
- 1.Subscribe & Setup — We purchase a paid subscription (usually the mid-tier plan) with our own money. No free review accounts from vendors.
- 2.2-Week Hands-On Testing — We use the tool daily with real market data for a minimum of 2 weeks. We test during different market conditions — trending, ranging, volatile.
- 3.Structured Evaluation — Each tool is scored across 5 weighted categories using standardized criteria. Every score has documented evidence.
- 4.Peer Review — A second team member verifies scores and checks for bias. Disagreements are resolved by re-testing the disputed category.
- 5.Publish & Monitor — Reviews are published with full transparency. We re-test quarterly and update scores when tools ship significant changes.
The overall score is a weighted average of 5 categories. Each category is scored on a 0–10 scale.
