The idea behind Algoriz is fantastic — describe a trading strategy in plain English and the AI builds an algorithm for it. In practice the generated strategies often need significant manual tweaking. Simple strategies like moving average crossovers work fine, but anything more complex tends to produce inconsistent results in backtesting.
Algoriz has potential but broker connectivity is limited. I wanted to connect it to my Interactive Brokers account and the process was clunky. The natural language strategy builder is genuinely innovative but the platform feels like it is still in beta. Documentation is sparse and the community is small so troubleshooting is mostly on your own.
